Weekend Video: “Helplessness Blues” by Fleet Foxes
I post this video this weekend for three reasons: (1) it's a cool song, (2) it's a great band, and last but certainly not least, (3) it was filmed in various places in Arizona, including some spots pretty close to here in Phoenix.

this was my song of 2011… i love how the FF lyrics have become more personal and seemingly relevant… this flowing tune feels tailor made for those suddenly confronted with a world of economic uncertainty, layoffs, and a future which may not be congruent with the idealized American sucess they were fed in school(aka all of us)…its the perfect soothing balm for a much more stressful adulthood then we expected & as is found in all the most transendant songs; it brings me both hope and tears… love it
